The Kronos Kingdom was far stronger than Sakazuki had imagined.
Sakazuki followed Bullet and Gerald underground through a special passage, where an underground corridor stretched beyond sight.
There was a special vehicle resembling a Sea Train.
Sakazuki recognized its purpose. Sea Trains had long since been developed by the Kronos Kingdom, connecting the islands around Paros Island from the time of the Swordsmanship Tournament.
Other powers on the seas, however, lacked the ability to build them.
All the Sea Trains currently in existence had been specially built by the Kronos Kingdom's Construction Company.
The most critical issue with Sea Trains was preventing Sea Kings from damaging them.
Once targeted by Sea Kings, a Sea Train would become a train of death.
The Kronos Kingdom had mastered the technology to prevent that long ago.
While running, the trains emitted sounds that Sea Kings loathed, driving them away.
Similar means of transportation existed on land in other kingdoms.
The World Government had also built extensive railways atop the Red Line to transport troops and supplies.
After boarding, however, Sakazuki clearly sensed what made this vehicle special.
As this special "train" started moving, it made no clattering noise, yet shot through the underground tunnel at an astonishing speed.
Looking through the glass, he saw nothing but a blur outside. It was moving too fast for the naked eye to make anything out.
A powerhouse like Sakazuki was especially sensitive to speed.
To him, the Kronos Kingdom was an utterly unfamiliar place, shrouded in mystery.
Likewise, Gerald was trying to learn more about the seas and the Navy through Sakazuki.
The Kronos Kingdom was, of course, aware of most developments on the seas, but some of its officers were not necessarily privy to them.
This was not a pointless exercise. Sakazuki was a Navy
