As the family strengthened its cultivation and uncovered a sealed flood dragon beneath Jade-Cold Pool, turmoil around the Su Household and Xu Mingxian’s new invitation opened the way to further upheaval.

• The Xu Household defeated the Wu Household’s allies, took over their holdings, and gained control of Qingjiang’s administration.
• Xu Chuan and Xu Mingxian bought the Four Symbols Heavenly Dipper Formation, and Xu Chuan advanced his alchemy and cultivation while working for Prince Yong and joining the Pill Hall.
• Xu Chuan completed the Divine Sense Pill formula, transformed his divine sense into Spiritual Consciousness, and taught True Person Yunding to refine the pill before leaving the Pill Hall.

Xu Chuan and the Xu Household grew stronger, took in the Yang Household, and entered the war between the Zhou and Su Households. After Xu Mingwei helped secure the Zhou victory and the Xu Household’s share of the spoils, Xu Chuan began organizing the family as a cultivation clan.

• Xu Mingxian joined Zhang Yanzhi, Daoist Chongxu, and Jin Hu to explore a cave abode, but Chongxu betrayed them and killed the others before Xu Chuan, Xu Mingwei, and Xu Mingxian killed him.
• The Xu Household recovered Chongxu’s treasures and formation inheritance as the Su and Zhou Households’ conflict intensified, and Xu Chuan tested the Su Household by spreading a rumor about a Lifespan-Extending Pill.
• The Yang Household chose to support the Zhou Household, and Xu Chuan sheltered Yang Zhao’s family after Xu Mingwei killed their pursuer, Su Taiyuan.
• Xu Mingwei and Xu Mingyuan watched the Zhou forces attack the Su Household, and Xu Mingwei intervened when Lei Hekong tried to ambush Zhou Qingfang, negotiating Lei’s neutrality with Daoist San Shu’s token.

The Xu Household rose as a recognized cultivation clan, expanded its alliances and trading routes, and brought new members into its fold. The arc ended with Red-Spotted Insects ravaging spirit fields across Moon Lake Commandery while Xu Chuan worked to develop a repellent.

• Xu Chuan established the Xu Household as a fifth-rank Qi Refining Clan, and the family celebrated Xu Mingxian’s marriage to Zhou Zongni amid an attack that Xu Mingwei repelled.
• Xu Chuan secured a pact with the Zhou Household, while the Xu family helped form the Moon Lake Martial Alliance and established halls, missions, and a trading company.
• Xu Mingyuan led relatives through Guangling Commandery, where they aided Ge Xuanhong, arranged a pill trade with the Ge Household, and then traveled on toward Dragon River Commandery.
• Xu Mingyuan and Xu Mingshu found Ren Xiaoyao after his grandfather’s death, and Xu Mingyuan accepted the boy as his disciple and brought him into the Xu Household.

The Xu Household broke the alliance against it, expanded into Guangling Commandery, and advanced its cultivation and influence. Xu Chuan established his foundation, while Yun Zhongzi warned him of a demon calamity expected in a little over sixty years and entrusted him with his Pill Dao legacy.

• Xu Mingshu and Xu Mingxian subdued the Red-Spotted Insects, and Xu Chuan used their repellent and the household’s growing businesses to strengthen its resources.
• Xu Dezhao became household head after proposing a plan to split the alliance formed by the Yuan, Huang, and Lu Households, and the Xu Household destroyed the Yuan Household with the Huang and Lu forces.
• Xu Mingwei stole seven Blood-Eyed Spider eggs, and the Xu Household spent the following years developing its cultivation, crafting, and spirit-beast resources.
