In the end, Zhou Sining still failed to persuade Burning Heaven and could only agree to take it to the Dragon Tooth Arena.

He had no choice, really. If there had been any other option, Zhou Sining would never have agreed.

But Burning Heaven was a genuine Emperor-level existence, and he had no way to force it under his control.

The one silver lining was that Burning Heaven knew little of the world. At heart, it was still an immature kid; coax it a little, and it would listen.

Otherwise, Zhou Sining really would have been helpless against it.

"Let's get this straight first. You can't use your power whenever you want. No power of any kind unless I give you permission, and you absolutely cannot leave my sight," Zhou Sining stressed repeatedly.

"Fine, I promise," Burning Heaven said indifferently.

It could do nothing to Zhou Sining, and likewise, Zhou Sining could do nothing to it.

So it knew perfectly well that it could treat his words as so much hot air and forget them as soon as it heard them.

Zhou Sining nodded, then summoned his Wing Magic Tool and soared into the sky, ignoring Venice's law against using magic or Magic Equipment without permission.

He flew straight ahead, leading the way. Before he had gone far, a long stream of black-and-red light appeared in the corner of his eye, tracing a distinctive line across the blue sky.

Man and blade flew side by side, but Burning Heaven remained relaxed the entire way, even finding time to pester Zhou Sining.

They landed at the entrance to the Dragon Tooth Arena. Ticket checks were already in their final stages, and few people remained outside.
