A single casual remark was enough to make his heart tremble, leaving him shaken to the core.
"Senior, I had to come." Suppressing his unease, Qin Hao raised his head and met the enormous Crimson Eyes directly.
"Heh."
Crimson Eyes gave a derisive laugh. "What is it?"
"Senior, Cloudwing Beast and I made a promise. I'm about to leave the Absolute Immortal Domain, so of course I must go with him. May I ask how he fared in his trial?"
Qin Hao neither humbled himself nor acted arrogantly. Every word rang firm.

At Qin Hao's words, Crimson Eyes did not grow angry. Instead, the chill in his gaze eased somewhat.
"Cloudwing Beast's trial is over. He has already left," Crimson Eyes said flatly.

Qin Hao froze, then quickly came to himself. Frowning, he asked, "Senior, when did Cloudwing Beast finish his trial? After all this time, there's no way he wouldn't have come to find me."
