After the disciples left the ruins, the Azure Flame Sect faced the Myriad Seas Heavenly Palace in a contest for the Phoenix Feather Armor, where Du Lei won two fights before facing Fu Ze.

• Qin Hao studied the Carefree Swordsman's notes, mastered the Heaven-Shaking Sword Strike, and created the Void Sword while Du Lei and other disciples also gained insights from the inscriptions.

Qin Hao defeated Fu Ze, Xing Shijie, and Zhao Wei to win the Phoenix Feather Armor, then refused the Myriad Seas Heavenly Palace’s offer and returned to the Azure Flame Sect. He chose Two Realms Peak and the Gods and Devils Heaven-Suppressing Art, whose first three levels might help him clear the first three floors of the Myriad Worlds Mysterious Tower.

• Fu Ze defeated Du Lei and Ji Yuanjie with his Time Laws, but Qin Hao shattered Fu Ze’s Time Barrier and forced him to concede after their long exchange.
