The Figure Blocking the Quantum Realm Corridor

The scene after entering the Quantum Realm looked like a miniature version of the entire universe. Beneath the constantly shifting, brilliant sights, fatal dangers hid.

The three of them shuttled continuously through the Quantum Realm, the Time Navigation Device leading everyone steadily toward the correct tunnel.

Lin Yi's mood at the moment was good; up to this point, the plan was going smoothly.

This sense of experience of personally participating in the plot was unspeakable.

Natasha and Clint were equally thrilled. This mission went off without a hitch, and they did not have to sacrifice anyone.

In just a few more seconds, the three of them could return to the future time point, fulfilling that regret that had lingered for five years.

However, the next second, the figures of the three stopped at a fork in the road.

It was not because there was a problem with the navigation device, but rather that a hazy figure blocked the middle of the fork.

A hood enveloped the entire body, and the face beneath the hood was obscured by distorted fluctuations, leaving only the slightly curly brown hair and the figure exposed from the hood to barely distinguish that she was a female.

She stood there without making any moves, yet Lin Yi could feel her gaze fixed on him.

"Go!" Lin Yi decided decisively, quickly taking off the gauntlet equipped with the Five Infinity Stones and tossing it to Clint, while the Soul Stone was shoved into Natasha's hands.

"What about you?" Natasha showed anxiety. Although the time they had known each other was very short and they had barely spoken a few words, from Lin Yi's actions, Natasha could tell that he was sincerely helping them.

"Don't worry about me. Her target shouldn't be the stones. You guys go first, make sure the plan goes safely, fast!" Lin Yi's tone was steady. That feeling of being locked on by a gaze stayed fixed on Lin Yi, and she did not even glance at the Infinity Stones or Natasha and the others.

Her target was Lin Yi.

Natasha tightened her grip on the stones in her hand, wanting to say something more, but Clint grabbed her and shook his head at her.

The sharp edges brought a stinging pain to Natasha's palm. She understood Clint's meaning; their combat power could not help Lin Yi here, and bringing the stones back first was the best plan.

As for using the stones to fight here... no one had that thought. The rules of the Quantum Realm differed from outer space. The abilities of the Infinity Stones only worked within the spatial dimensions of the universe they belonged to; inside the Quantum Realm, the Infinity Stones were of no use.

This point was something Lin Yi had just verified.

Without further delay, the two immediately restarted the navigation device, transforming into two streaks of light that sped away along the established tunnel.

The figure did not intercept them, which made Lin Yi heave a sigh of relief, yet grow even more solemn.

His guess was correct. She did not care about the Infinity Stones, Natasha, or the others; her target was him.

"Who are you, and why did you destroy my navigation device? Do you want something from me?" Lin Yi was on high alert, attempting to communicate.

His Super Vision could not pierce that layer of hazy illusion to see her true distorted features, yet he unexpectedly sensed a hint of a familiar yet unfamiliar aura from this figure.

If possible, he did not want to fight in the Quantum Realm's tunnels. The restrictions here were too great for him, and once a fight broke out, he had no idea what kind of changes might occur in the Quantum Realm.

The figure did not answer Lin Yi, instead extending her right hand.

On the back of her slender hand, there was a pale red star-like mark, looking somewhat like a birthmark, appearing indistinct and vanishing in a flash.

...Is this supposed to be greeting me?

Lin Yi had no idea what she meant.

The figure flipped her palm, and an item shimmering with a metallic luster appeared. With a wave of her hand, she tossed it toward Lin Yi.

It was a metallic Icosahedron, about the size of half a palm.

Lin Yi looked at the Icosahedron suspended before him, sensing no dangerous aura from it, yet he did not reach out to touch it.

He was silent for a moment. "For me?"

This time, the figure did not ignore Lin Yi like before; instead, she nodded.

As if completing a task, the figure rapidly dissipated after nodding, giving Lin Yi zero time to react.

Left behind, a bewildered Lin Yi doubted his life from start to finish.

Who on earth was this figure? The slightly curly brown hair, and that hint of a familiar aura.

Why did she destroy his Time Navigation Device? And what was this thing she gave him?

A head full of unanswered questions made Lin Yi irritated.

He was not particularly worried that he would be trapped in the Quantum Realm without a Time Navigation Device.

As long as Natasha and Clint got out, Tony would find a way to come and find him, though it might take a while.

He had no intention of running around blindly by himself; there were more forks behind this fork, and if he ran the wrong way, he might luckily pop up in human civilization.

If he took a wrong turn and ended up taking himself to the prehistoric era, that would be a joke.

Wait a second, no!

If he stagnated here, then who would warn Tony and the others to watch out for Nebula?

Lin Yi's heart suddenly hammered.

I didn't think of it—why didn't I think to warn Natasha and them to be careful of Nebula?!

Lin Yi wanted to curse. Damn it, without his warning about Nebula's anomaly, allowing her to let Thanos through, then according to the original plot, Tony would snap his fingers at the very end and directly croak right there, wouldn't he?!

He had no idea what the figure had given him or why she gave it to him, but his Sixth Sense told him that this thing was quite important.

After his abilities grew, this profound perception of a Sixth Sense would accurately guide his choices, and such choices were usually beneficial to him.

Just like the day Tony's lakeside cabin suffered a missile attack, Lin Yi had originally intended to go to the snowy mountains to test his current ability level, but his Sixth Sense made him stay at the cabin.

The Icosahedron felt ice-cold to the touch, unquestionably metal, only very heavy.
