Description
After being punched awake, Morin discovers that he has become a prisoner of war. At first, he thinks he is in a world resembling the eve of World War I-only to discover that things are even worse than he imagined. And why am I, an imperial soldier, allied with volunteers from the International Brigades?! Assault troops clad like tin cans and wielding swords and shields, armored knights powered by a hybrid of diesel and magic, and battlemages attached to the army... Everything tells Morin that something is wrong with this world. Very wrong. But right now, what he needs to figure out is how to survive this war that supposedly will "end all wars."
Featuring: a magically reimagined World War I, real men working bolt-action rifles, diesel-powered armored knights, airship boarding actions...
