A Flying Thunder God Mark appeared on Tobi's right wrist in the same motion.

Tobi froze, pulled his hand back, and scratched his head awkwardly.

Beneath his mask, Obito's lips curled upward. I finally planted White Zetsu Spores on your hand. Let's see where you hide now!

What he didn't know was that the Female Avatar had Wood Release. How could she fail to sense plant spores?

Obito, on the other hand, couldn't sense the Flying Thunder God Mark!

High above, an enraged Gaara immediately launched into a fierce battle with Deidara.

Shukaku's Giant Claws struck at Deidara in a rapid, relentless barrage, while a dozen masses of sand darted around him from every direction.

Deidara's expression changed. He steered the bird beneath his feet through one narrow escape after another, like a fly under attack.

Before long, sand closed in from all sides and swallowed him, forming an enormous sphere.

Gaara was about to crush Deidara inside when, with a bang, Deidara blew a hole through the sand sphere and burst out on his bird, gasping for breath.

But the sand pursued him without letup, determined to catch him!

Only by flying with all his strength did Deidara climb high enough to evade it for the moment.

For once, the arrogant Deidara regretted not bringing enough clay. He had underestimated Gaara, too.

Gaara raised both hands!

At once, vast quantities of sand surged up from Sunagakure below, nearly filling the entire sky!
