Tobi spun in circles, shouting and clutching his head as though he were utterly terrified.

"Aren't we capturing the Tailed Beast?" The Female Avatar genuinely admired his acting. She glanced at him and asked casually.

"Uh!" Tobi froze as though he had suddenly snapped back to his senses, then looked hopefully at the Female Avatar. "Menma, are you going to help them?"

"Me? Not my problem! This is their mission. Besides, they haven't asked me for help!"

As she spoke, the Female Avatar looked up at the battle high overhead, completely unconcerned about the Sunagakure Shinobi who were about to attack.

Deidara couldn't evade Gaara's attacks in his Partial Tailed Beast Transformation. Countless streams of sand were about to engulf him again!

Boom!

He detonated the large clay bird beneath his feet, blasting apart the sand pursuing him from behind. Then he landed on a small bird he had just made and shot higher into the sky!

By then, the C4 Karura in his mouth was ready. He immediately spat it toward Gaara below.

A doll identical to Deidara appeared and rapidly expanded in the wind, growing into a giant that reached out to embrace Gaara.

Gaara instinctively wrapped the giant doll in sand, but it swelled like an ever-inflating balloon. With a bang, it burst through the sand surrounding it, its entire body breaking apart into powder.

Gaara, still in his Partial Tailed Beast Transformation, paused. With little of his own awareness remaining, he thought it was just a "dud."
