Rōran Was Nothing Like the Original Story

In the original story, when Naruto traveled to Rōran, Mukade had already been there for six years under the name Anrokuzan and had used the Ryūmyaku to develop a vast number of puppets.

By then, all the men in Rōran had been forced into underground factories to make puppets. Only a few women and children remained hidden in the city.

But now, those civilians were probably dead.

That meant the timeline could no longer match the original story. He would need to investigate further to find out what had happened.

He looked up. Though he could not see them, he could clearly sense the dense web of Chakra Threads overhead. Mukade had set it up to control his countless puppets.

Following his sense of where the living people were, Naruto first reached the top of a tower. Something about the person there felt unusual. They had the presence of a living human, but not quite a normal one.

Naruto had a guess as to who it was.

When he spotted the person from a distance, he thought, Just as I expected.

A slender young woman of about eighteen sat on the windowsill. Her long legs, clad in black stockings, swung back and forth outside the window as she hummed an indistinct tune.

She had to be Queen Sara. No, more precisely, the former queen.

For some reason, Mukade had not killed her this time.

Either way, Naruto intended to take her with him. She could help him control the Ryūmyaku so he could use Samehada to absorb Dragon Vein Chakra.

"Come with me."

Naruto stepped up behind Sara. Looking at her graceful figure, he spoke softly.
