Naruto had learned the forbidden technique of Impure World Reincarnation long ago. Before this trip, he had used the system to raise it to the Masterclass level.

After his Shadow Clone obtained fragments of Kushina's and Minato Namikaze's remains from the cemetery by Konoha's Memorial Stone, he soon reincarnated them both.

The owner of the third bone fragment could wait.

When Kushina and Minato Namikaze first appeared, they looked bewildered.

Naruto placed the Chakra he had previously sealed from each of them back into their bodies. Their expressions changed at once as everything became clear.

They had left Chakra inside Naruto's seal and used it to speak with his consciousness as though they were there in person. Now they could absorb the memories contained in those two portions of Chakra as well.

"Naruto, we meet again!" Kushina hurried forward and hugged him, her face full of joy. "Is this Impure World Reincarnation?"

"Yes." Naruto nodded, looking a little awkward.

He had inherited all of the previous Naruto's memories, but he was not actually Kushina's son. Being hugged by a young woman like her naturally made him uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry, Naruto." Minato Namikaze stood where he was and apologized to him again.

"You've already said that. You don't need to say it again." Naruto shook his head, glanced at him, and took the chance to slip out of Kushina's embrace.

"I brought you back because I wanted you to experience being alive again, even if it's in a different way," Naruto told Kushina with a smile.

Kushina was innocent. She had done nothing wrong, yet her husband's student had killed her because she carried the Nine-Tails. It was a deeply unjust death.

And Kushina cared deeply about Naruto.
