The lake and its shores were shrouded in white mist, but as soon as Naruto arrived, he sensed Sakura crossing the water in a boat with two ninja and a child.
Hinata activated her Byakugan and looked toward Sakura. "It's Sakura! There's a child with her, a female ninja, and a male ninja."
Naruto nodded. The woman had to be Guren, and the man was probably one of her subordinates.
The boy was the one who could lure out the Three-Tails.
Just then, six enormous pink crystal pillars rose from the water, forming a circle. Together, they seemed to create a special Sealing Barrier.
After the boy swallowed the medicine Sakura gave him and put on a strange hood, he cried out in pain and released a powerful surge of Chakra.
The boy's Chakra soon took effect.
A colossal creature slowly surfaced and swam straight into the Barrier formed by the six crystal pillars.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Guren immediately attacked the Three-Tails!
Roar!
The Three-Tails roared, sending towering waves surging in every direction!
The boat carrying Sakura, Guren, and the other two capsized, throwing them into the water.
At the same time, an overwhelming pressure spread across the area and weighed on everyone's hearts.
On the shore, Team Kakashi, surrounded by Guren's subordinates, stared in horror.
"Guren, hurry!" Sakura shouted. She stood on the churning water, holding the unconscious boy.
"I know! Stop ordering me around!" Guren burst from the water and shouted back. She used Crystal Release to attack the Three-Tails again.
Crystal Release was an unusual and uncanny ability, but against a beast as enormous as the Three-Tails, it was utterly ineffective.
None of the Crystal Release attacks could even break through the Three-Tails' skin!
"Crystal Release: Crystal Wall Eight Formation!"
Seeing that ordinary attacks had failed, Guren
