The Golden Page was not damaged by the sword aura. Instead, it absorbed the sword aura completely.
A minute later, the Golden Page finally changed. Brilliant golden light burst from its surface, and it stopped absorbing the sword aura, reflecting it instead and punching a sword-sized hole through the bedroom wall.
Naruto suppressed his excitement and watched the page without blinking.
The light on the page slowly faded, gathering into glowing characters the size of ants that appeared across its surface.
Golden points of light covered the page, as dense as stars in the night sky.
Then, with a clatter, the Floating Technique suddenly stopped working, and the Golden Page dropped straight down.
After a moment's thought, Naruto immediately leaned forward and caught the Golden Page in his hand.
But the instant his fingers touched it, the glowing characters surged toward them as though they had found an outlet.
He tried to shake the Golden Page off, but it clung stubbornly to his hand as though it had come alive. He could not dislodge it at all.
The glowing characters transferred far too quickly. In that single instant, they covered Naruto's entire body, making him shimmer with writing from head to toe in an utterly eerie sight.
Dozens of seconds later, all the glowing characters swarmed toward his head as though responding to an order. They seeped inside one by one, forcibly cramming countless things into his mind in an instant.
Naruto immediately clutched his head and screamed in pain.
Had this continued for even a little longer, Naruto's head might well have burst from the strain, killing him.
Fortunately, the pain was very brief. Before long, all the glowing characters had finished entering his mind.
Only then did Naruto collapse limply to the ground, unable to move a muscle.
