Background and History

Han Li grew up in a remote farming village. At eighteen, he travels to Tainan Mountain seeking other cultivators and information about cultivation. He meets Naruto, who calls himself Feng Ming, and joins him and Wan Xiaoshan on the way to Tai Nan Valley. Learning of the Seven Great Sects’ Ascension Conference gives him a possible route into a sect 174 175 177 272.

Han Li enters Yellow Maple Valley using an Immortal Ascension Token. After surviving the Blood-Colored Forbidden Land and turning over enough century-old spirit herbs to win a wager for his sect, he becomes Li Huayuan’s nominal disciple. He later tends the Hundred Herb Garden, where he quietly grows herbs and refines pills, before reaching Foundation Establishment 196 229 233 234.

At Li Huayuan’s direction, Han Li goes to Yue Capital to protect Qin Yan’s household from a possible Demonic Path threat. His investigation leads to the Black Fiend Sect’s presence in the imperial palace and a raid by Yellow Maple Valley disciples. Later, as the war forces Yellow Maple Valley to retreat, Han Li and Naruto plan to leave when they can do so safely 271 284 288 289 312.

Han Li accompanies Naruto’s group to the Chaotic Star Sea and makes a separate cave dwelling on Little Ring Island to protect the secret of his Little Green Bottle. After more than twenty years of cultivation, he seeks Snow Spirit Water, Heavenly Fire Liquid, and Dustfall Pills to improve his chances of Core Formation. He accepts the Six-Linked Hall’s dangerous beast-hunting mission for the promised pill and subsequently prepares to attempt the breakthrough 329 332 334 340.

He flees Yan Castle to warn Yellow Maple Valley about the Ghost Spirit Sect rather than enter a sealed formation, and he considers leaving the sect’s wartime retreat rather than losing years needed for advancement.
