After the crowd observing Training Ground No. 6 behind Konoha dispersed, Hiruzen Sarutobi went there himself.
The site of Training Ground No. 6 was unrecognizable. All that remained was a small basin where not a blade of grass grew.
Water from the nearby river and waterfall slowly flowed into the basin. Unless someone filled it in, a lake would form there before long.
The corner of Hiruzen Sarutobi's eye twitched.
"Even worse than I imagined. That attack was no less powerful than an S-rank jutsu."
"But why would Tsunade use that kind of power while training Kushina and the others?"
Curious, Hiruzen Sarutobi walked toward the center of the basin, deep in thought.
Others might assume Tsunade had reached Kage Level while training on her own, but Hiruzen Sarutobi knew she had come to train her students today. Could the combined attack of Kushina and the other two have forced Tsunade to go all out?
Usually, three students attacked their teacher together, and Hiruzen Sarutobi assumed that was what had happened.
Suddenly, Hiruzen Sarutobi noticed a patch of scorched earth ahead, and confusion crossed his face.
"That looks like the work of a powerful Lightning Release technique. One of Kushina's group must have used it. It seems Tsunade may still be hiding something."
Hiruzen Sarutobi smiled.
At the Hokage's office, Tsunade had refused to let Uchiha Yin and Kushina graduate early. The more Hiruzen Sarutobi thought about it, the more puzzled he became, so he had come to see for himself.
And the visit had paid off. Uchiha Yin and the others might truly be stronger than he had imagined.
"They're the future pillars of Konoha. I must make sure they're protected."
"Bye! See you tomorrow at Training Ground No. 8."
Kushina and Mikoto waved, bidding each other a "reluctant"
