Uchiha Yin blinked twice before it sank in: the child had stopped him just to say hello.
He let out a laugh and gently patted Uchiha Izumi on the head. "I'm happy to see you too, Uchiha Izumi!"
Izumi jerked her head up, her eyes wide with shock. "Lord Yin, you can talk!"
Yin didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He looked at her in confusion.
"I'm sorry, Lord Yin! That's not what I meant. I mean, I never thought you'd talk to me! I'm so excited I can barely get my words out!"

Izumi promptly bowed and watched him leave.
Uchiha Itachi had watched the whole exchange from behind them. In the end, he shook his head helplessly. It was hardly the first time he had seen something like this.
