Uchiha Yin smiled faintly. He got out of bed, washed up quickly, and, under everyone's watchful eyes, took the Hokage robe with him to the inauguration ceremony.
When Uchiha Yin arrived, he was stunned. Who would have thought the ANBU leadership could notify so many people about the ceremony in a single night? That took some doing.
Keeping a stiff smile on his face, Uchiha Yin walked step by step toward Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi as everyone watched.
The expression that should have been respectful and solemn had taken on an entirely different edge. No matter how one looked at it, the way Uchiha Yin stared at Hiruzen Sarutobi carried a threat.
Hiruzen Sarutobi seemed to sense it too. He stood still, but his face twisted.
He looked as though he was struggling not to run away.
Only when Uchiha Yin was almost in front of him did Hiruzen Sarutobi manage to force out, "This wasn't my idea alone! Don't take it all out on me!"
