With that, he headed home. Kurotsuchi, who had remained silent all this time, stretched out her slender arms as he began walking and wrapped them around his neck. "Master Yin, you're finally back!"
Uchiha Yin had not expected that, after holding back for so long, this was all Kurotsuchi had wanted to say. He found it rather funny.
But seeing how worried she looked, he suppressed his smile. "Yes, I'm back now. You don't have to worry anymore!"
He had thought their conversation would end there, but to his surprise, Kurotsuchi paused briefly before continuing, "Master Yin, please take me with you whenever you have something to do from now on. I promise I won't cause you any trouble. Waiting for you to come back like this really feels awful!"
As she spoke, Kurotsuchi looked utterly earnest and serious. Her brows even furrowed slightly, a puzzled expression on her face.
No matter how he looked at her, she was adorable. He could not help marveling inwardly at how good this little girl was at saying sweet things without realizing it. It made him unexpectedly happy.
