Uchiha Yin froze for a moment. Unable to think of anything to say, he simply sat down.
After setting out the tableware, Kurotsuchi said, "Let's eat," and began eating with relish.
Yin, on the other hand, stared at the appetizing breakfast before him, unsure where to start.
He opened his mouth, about to say something, but Kurotsuchi cut him off.
In the middle of eating, Kurotsuchi seemed to remember something. She quickly looked up and asked, "Master Yin, are you free in three days?"
Yin didn't quite follow. "Huh?" he murmured, looking puzzled.
Seeing his expression, Kurotsuchi explained earnestly, "I met a girl last night, and we agreed to have a match. I'd like you to be the referee that day, Master Yin!"
Yin frowned slightly, looking unconvinced. "Why the sudden urge to have a match?"
"I've trained for so long, but I still don't know how strong I am," Kurotsuchi explained. "Wouldn't it be perfect to test myself against someone around my age and skill level?"
Her eyes dimmed slightly. "And I can prove to everyone that I'm not useless!"
Hearing that, Yin felt a pang of sympathy. He couldn't bring himself to refuse. "All right. I'll do it!"
Kurotsuchi beamed. "Thank you, Master Yin! I'll go train now that I've finished eating!"
She gathered up her bowl and chopsticks and left without giving Yin a chance to say another word.
Yin watched Kurotsuchi walk away and suddenly felt as though he were dealing with a teenager.
Helpless, he poked at the fried egg in his bowl.
Meanwhile, in the Uchiha Inner Residence, Uchiha Izumi stood before her teacher, ready to show what she had achieved with the Great Fireball Technique.
Her teacher stood across from her with a stern expression and said clearly, "All right, begin!"
