As soon as they entered, they saw Samui standing there in an apron, setting out the food. She looked up when she heard them come in.
Samui wore a crisp ninja outfit that showed off her perfect figure, and her short, light-colored hair looked equally sharp.
Now, though, she wore a pale pink apron edged with ruffles. The way it framed her chest made it even more eye-catching.
This cool, stunning woman was arranging bowls and chopsticks with her slender, fair hands. The contrast was so striking that it took a moment to sink in.
For a moment, Kurotsuchi and Uchiha Yin stood frozen in the doorway. Neither even thought to go inside.
Under their intense gazes, Samui found herself at a loss. Her face flushed.
"Come in and eat. What are you still standing there for? My cooking isn't bad!"
Her words sounded forceful at first, but her voice grew quieter as she spoke, until it was barely a whisper.
Uchiha Yin and Kurotsuchi exchanged a glance, then went in together, washed their hands, and sat down.
They picked up their bowls and swallowed, but neither started eating right away.
Uchiha Yin held back because the taste of the meal Tsunade had once made was still fresh in his memory.
Samui was also a sexy, fiery Jonin, and he worried the two women might be just as alike when it came to cooking.
But he could not withstand Samui's expectant gaze. Bracing himself for the worst, Uchiha Yin picked up some food and put it straight into his mouth.
It was nowhere near as terrifying as he had imagined. In fact, it tasted quite good.
Uchiha Yin raised his eyebrows and gave Samui an approving look, praising her without reservation. "Mm, this is really good. Thanks for the effort!"
