Uchiha Yin hardly seemed to care. He glanced up at Tsunade, then calmly drank his cup of sake.
Tsunade was clearly unhappy with him. She waved a limp hand in front of his face. "Yin, why are you ignoring me? You haven't come to see me in ages, and now that you're here, you won't even talk to me!"
She hurled the bottle in her hand straight at his face, with no sign that she had held back.
Uchiha Yin remained unruffled. He tilted his head slightly, and the bottle flew past his cheek before shattering with a sharp crack.
He did not so much as flinch. Clearly, he was used to this sort of thing.
Seeing how easily he had dodged it, Tsunade grumbled, "Who said you could dodge?"
Uchiha Yin fixed his bright black eyes on her. His gaze seemed to see right through her, making Tsunade angrier still.
As if sitting down could no longer contain her anger, she sprang to her feet and staggered toward him.
She raised a hand as though ready to strike him at any moment. But she had drunk too much, and her unsteady steps made it look as if she might fall.
Uchiha Yin stayed seated, outwardly unmoved, but his eyes never left Tsunade.
He watched her every move, his body taut and ready to rush forward and catch her if she fell.
She made it across the table's width without falling, despite her stumbling. Just as Uchiha Yin was about to breathe a sigh of relief,
Tsunade cried out as she tripped over a table leg and pitched forward.
Uchiha Yin reacted at once, reaching out with one long arm to scoop her into his embrace.
Tsunade relaxed the instant she found herself in those familiar, reassuring arms, but the
