For a moment, Samui nearly lost control of her expression. "Boring. If you've got nothing else to do, just disappear!"
The system chuckled. "Don't be in such a hurry. I haven't told you about your next mission yet." It paused. Just as Samui thought it had gone, it continued, "You're so capable. Should I make your missions harder?"
Chapter 733: Fully Healed
At those words, Samui felt her temple twitch. She lowered her head a little more so Minato Namikaze, not far away, wouldn't see the fury she could no longer keep off her face.
What exactly do you want? she demanded inwardly.
The system acted as though it hadn't heard her. Its voice remained calm. "Nothing, really. You're just so capable that I can't help wanting to see more of your potential!"
Samui felt as if the air were trapped in her chest. She straightened her back, thrusting out her chest, and let out a deep breath.
She had hoped to expel all that pent-up frustration in one go, but it did nothing. Her chest still felt tight.
By then, Minato Namikaze had noticed something was wrong. He narrowed his eyes and watched her for a moment. Seeing that she only seemed short of breath and made no other unusual moves, he spoke.
"If you're not feeling well, you can go back and rest first!"
Samui hadn't expected Minato Namikaze to speak just then. Startled, she quickly composed herself. "I'm fine. I've just been sitting too long, and it feels a little stuffy. Could I step outside for some air?"
Minato Namikaze didn't suspect anything. He nodded his permission, and Samui walked out as though she'd been granted a reprieve.
