The moment those words left his mouth, Uchiha Yin felt thoroughly embarrassed. He gave a small cough to cover it up. "Oh, all right. I'm going to your house. Would you like to come with me?"
Hinata hesitated. She glanced at Sakura Haruno, who stood nearby, then stepped forward. "Um, hello. I'm Hinata Hyuga. Would you like to come over to my house?"
Sakura was surprised. We've only just met, and the first thing she says is an invitation to her house. Isn't that a little sudden?
Despite that thought, Sakura did not hesitate for more than two seconds before smiling. "Sure! Hello, I'm Sakura Haruno!"
She agreed so quickly because she wanted to follow Lord Hokage but could not think of a reason to do so. Hinata's invitation came at just the right time.
Hinata had no idea what Sakura was thinking. All she knew was that Sakura had accepted, and she looked delighted.
"That's great!" she said, then turned to Uchiha Yin. "Lord Hokage, let's go back together!"
Uchiha Yin watched the two make friends, at a loss for words. He found himself thinking, more than once, that he really was getting old.
In the end, he said nothing more. He simply nodded for them to get going.
Uchiha Yin did not use Space-Time Ninjutsu. It was not because he worried about the strain or anything like that. Hinata looked so happy that he wanted to give her time to talk with Sakura.
Sakura had followed them because she wanted to see Lord Hokage, but she was still a child. The two girls talked the whole way and soon forgot Uchiha Yin was even there.
When they reached the Hyuga residence, Sakura stared at the enormous building in astonishment. She grabbed Hinata's hand. "Hinata, is this your house?"
