Uchiha Yin nodded. Watching Uchiha Itachi turn to leave, he couldn't help adding, "It's going to be hard work!"
Uchiha Itachi froze for a moment, then broke into a smile. "That's all right. Once everything's over, I'll be able to get some proper rest!"
Uchiha Yin laughed too, but he couldn't resist bringing him back down to earth. "Even when everything's over, I won't let you rest!"
Uchiha Itachi smiled faintly. "Lord Hokage, you're rather harsh. Keep pushing us like this, and we might rebel!"
Uchiha Yin looked unconcerned. "That would be great. I haven't had a chance to stretch my legs in ages. You can all come at me together when the time comes!"
Chapter 762: A Little Promise
Uchiha Itachi's mouth nearly twitched. "Lord Yin, I'll be going now!"
Uchiha Yin said nothing. He watched Uchiha Itachi disappear from his home, looking utterly speechless. Only when Itachi was completely out of sight did Yin's expression fall away, and worry slowly surfaced on his face.
Even though he had been the one to send them, Uchiha Yin still felt an inexplicable unease. It had nothing to do with their strength. He simply couldn't shake the feeling.
Meanwhile, at the Hyuga Clan Residence, Hinata wore a sweet smile. No one would have guessed she had just returned from such a dangerous place. Hyuga Hiashi had wanted to ask her how she was doing.
