Ōnoki saw this and smacked Deidara on the head. "Lord Yin is giving you a chance. Hurry up and accept!"
Despite his master's forceful demand, Deidara remained unwilling. "I don't want to go. There's nothing artistic about it! I'd rather keep sculpting clay forever!"
Uchiha Yin tilted his head in thought. "If you go without making a fuss, perhaps I'll have your master teach you something more artistic." He glanced at Ōnoki, a clear threat in his eyes. "Right, Ōnoki? You still have that scroll on Explosive Clay, don't you?"
Disbelief filled Deidara's face. He had no idea such a thing existed.
Ōnoki's expression changed completely. Hardly anyone knew about it, even among Iwagakure's higher-ups. How had Uchiha Yin found out?
But now that Yin knew, there was no point denying it. Ōnoki could only say miserably, "Lord Yin, that's a forbidden technique!"
Uchiha Yin shrugged, unconcerned. "I know. But forbidden techniques are only forbidden because people don't know how to use them properly. I'm sure your disciple will know better."
Deidara no longer cared whether it was forbidden. He looked at Ōnoki with undisguised delight.
Under both their gazes, Ōnoki knew arguing was useless. He nodded helplessly.
Deidara immediately turned to Uchiha Yin. "I agree!"
Uchiha Yin smiled faintly. "Then go take a look with your master." He gave Ōnoki a look, signaling him to lead the way.
Ōnoki had no choice but to take them to the scroll. Deidara looked uneasy before opening it, but once he saw its contents, his eyes locked onto the page.
After a long while, he looked up at Ōnoki, excitement written across his face. "Master, I'll use it wisely!"
