At that thought, Uchiha Itachi decided to discuss it with Uchiha Yin. After all, Yin was always good at this sort of thing.
But Itachi had no idea that the man he was counting on was busy enjoying an intimate moment with a beauty. If he had known, his mouth might have twitched.
Two hours later, Yin glanced with a smile at the sleeping Samui and headed for the ANBU. For some reason, he felt something was going to happen today, and he couldn't rest easy without checking in.
Itachi was propping up his head, deep in thought, when Yin suddenly appeared before him with a serious expression. "What are you thinking about?"
Itachi was delighted to see Yin. His savior had finally arrived. "Obito Uchiha came by again. I'm trying to figure out how to defect without raising suspicion!"
Chapter 777: A Convincing Defection
Yin couldn't help laughing. It was a serious matter, but the way Itachi put it made it unexpectedly funny. "So, have you come up with anything?"
Itachi looked dejected, then made a rare joke. "Lord Yin, you know my devotion to Konoha better than anyone. Where am I supposed to find an excuse to defect?"
Yin's mouth twitched. If he hadn't known for certain that this was Itachi himself and not someone using a Transformation Jutsu, he might have beaten him up just to find out who he really was.
Joking aside, Yin knew this was troublesome. Itachi could defect easily enough in one sense, but making it believable would be extremely difficult.
"What reason did Obito give to win you over?" Yin asked, annoyed. If Obito had come to him, he must have thought he could persuade Itachi. He would have brought an argument of his own, and following that line would make things
