Uchiha Itachi said nothing on the way, and Kisame did not ask. Only when they reached the spot where they had entered Amegakure did Kisame understand what Itachi meant. Juzo Biwa stood there, glaring at Obito Uchiha with a threatening look.
Kisame felt the corner of his mouth twitch. He had never expected to see Juzo here again after only six hours.
When Obito brought Juzo down into Amegakure, Juzo's expression had turned grim. "I haven't even seen him. What exactly do you expect me to believe?"
Obito was getting a headache and was about to answer when he saw Itachi approaching with Kisame. Relief washed over him. "Turn around and see for yourself. Isn't he right behind you?"
Juzo lit up when he turned and saw Kisame. Seeing someone familiar in this miserable place felt good!
Kisame walked up to him with a faint smile. "I didn't expect to see you here."
Juzo snorted. "You think I wanted to see you? It's just a coincidence!" He turned his head away with a haughty look.
Kisame was still thinking of what to say when Juzo spoke first. He fixed Obito with a cold stare. "I need to speak with him alone." His tone left no room for refusal.
Obito did not refuse. He nodded and smiled. "Go ahead." He stepped aside to let them pass.
The two exchanged a glance and walked off. Kisame had expected Obito to look completely confident, but once they were out of earshot, Obito turned to Itachi and asked in a threatening tone, "Kisame isn't going to cause trouble at a critical moment like this, is he?"
Itachi clearly had not expected that question. "If you're that unsure of him, you could have stopped him from going," he said impatiently.
