When Sakura turned and saw the bright red blood on Hinata's arm, she finally remembered what she needed to do. She wiped away the tears that had spilled down her face without her noticing.
Sakura immediately crouched, took Hinata's arm, and said in a muffled voice, "Don't move. I've got this!" She held her palm above Hinata's wound.
Green Chakra enveloped the wound, and Hinata felt a tingling itch spread through her arm.
The wound healed before their eyes. In no time, it had closed completely, without even a scar.
Chapter 862: Starting Over
Hinata stared at her arm in amazement. She had always known about Medical Ninjutsu, but this was her first time experiencing it herself. "Thank you, Sakura. You're incredible!" she said sincerely.
Unexpectedly, Sakura didn't look pleased. Her face filled with guilt instead. "You wouldn't have been hurt if it weren't for me!"
Hinata brushed that aside. "Never mind that. We're all safe, and we only lost the Heaven Scroll. We still have a chance!"
As she spoke, Ino finally stirred where she leaned against the tree trunk. She shifted a couple of times, opened her eyes, and asked worriedly, "Are you two okay?"
She stood to walk over to them, but stumbled before she could take a step and nearly fell. After swaying back and forth, she finally steadied herself.
Hinata and Sakura, who had looked so grave a moment ago, couldn't help laughing. Seeing their smiles, Ino knew they were all right.
Even so, Ino pretended to be angry and made as if to hit them. The three fooled around for a little while before settling down to rest.
Ino took the Earth Scroll from the Ninja Tool Pouch behind her. Worry still showed on her face, but she quickly put on an unconcerned look.
