"What? What happened?" Tsunade overheard them and walked over.
"Lady Tsunade!"
The men flinched when they saw her.
They had just been discussing the Senju Clan's heavy losses. They never expected the Konoha Princess herself to hear them.
Tsunade frowned at their frightened faces.
"Don't worry. I only want to know what you were talking about." Tsunade realized she had been too abrupt. She had unconsciously let her killing intent slip, leaving them trembling.
Tsunade might usually be easygoing, but she was still a Ninja who had fought on the battlefield. She had taken plenty of lives.
That brief flare of killing intent had naturally terrified them.
She reined it in. Her expression remained grave, but she no longer looked quite so frightening.
