Konan kissed Uchiha Yin.
"I don't know whether what you told me is true, Brother Yin, but thank you for saving me from the war. Otherwise, I can't imagine how I would have survived."
"Here, I met mischievous big sister Kushina, sly big sister Mikoto, generous big sister Tsunade, and you, my beloved Brother Yin. I'm so lucky."
Konan spoke earnestly, gazing into Uchiha Yin's eyes.
"But I was also terrified that it was all an illusion. Now I know it's real."
"Konan..."
"Brother Yin, I'm so glad I met you."
"Now it's my turn to repay you, Brother Yin."
Chapter 189: Grandpa Hiruzen Sarutobi
The Ninja Academy buzzed with voices as the graduates sat excitedly in their classroom.
Just yesterday, they had graduated from the Ninja Academy and become real ninja.
They were only Genin, the lowest rank, but they were thrilled all the same.
What they didn't know was that their assigned instructors still had tests waiting for them. Anyone who failed would be sent back to the Ninja Academy for another year.
Most of those tests were fairly easy, though. It wasn't like Kakashi's claim in the original story that only thirty-three percent would pass.
Kakashi had said plenty of things that were wrong, such as claiming the Third Hokage was the strongest Hokage of all time...
That was hard to swallow. If anything, the Third Hokage seemed like the weakest of them all.
The Ninja Academy was bustling, but Konan was no longer there.
Her teachers weren't worried, though. Uchiha Yin had sent a Wood Clone to request leave for her.
When Konan came out of the room, Kushina and the others teased her for ages.
Blushing, Konan took their teasing in stride.
After giving Konan a few days to rest, Uchiha Yin began teaching
