As long as Kakashi didn't let the defeat break him, things would turn out fine.

Kakashi's loss had caught Hatake Sakumo by surprise, but it wasn't a bad thing.

Things had gone too smoothly for Kakashi, and that wasn't necessarily good for him.

This setback had given him fresh motivation.

Seeing that Kakashi was all right, Hatake Sakumo turned his attention to Sara.

In just six months, Sara had gone from an ordinary person with no training to a ninja considerably stronger than his son. Her talent was monstrous.

Remembering Konan, whom Uchiha Yin had brought back earlier, Hatake Sakumo smiled in understanding.

The people Uchiha Yin brought back were never ordinary. Did that mean Kaguya, who rarely ventured out in Konoha, was a genius too?

Kaguya was quiet and reserved. Unless she went out with Tsunade and the others, she never left Uchiha Yin's house.

Unlike Kakashi, Sara ran cheerfully to Uchiha Yin's side, her expression all but saying, Come on, praise me!

"Well done. That's my student for you." Uchiha Yin gave Sara a thumbs-up.

"Of course! Do you know who I am? This princess—no, this queen!" Sara laughed heartily.

"And there you go, taking credit for it. You've got no shame!" Sara said with a bright laugh.

In that moment, everything that had weighed on Sara's heart for the past six months fell away. She felt wonderfully at ease.

For the first time, Sara felt that all her hard work over those six months had been worth it.

News of Sara's victory over Kakashi soon reached Hiruzen Sarutobi's desk.

Was Uchiha Yin simply that good at spotting talent, or was he that good at teaching?

Or was it both? I wonder if Uchiha Yin is still taking students.

Hiruzen Sarutobi thought of his troublesome second son, Asuma.
