After Uchiha Yin explained just how valuable the Space Bracelet was, Shizune pushed it back toward him.
"Are you looking down on my gift?"
Uchiha Yin's expression changed, and he spoke gravely.
"Ah, no, no! Yin, I'm not looking down on your gift..." The moment Shizune saw his stern expression, she panicked and spoke timidly.
"Then keep it. I won't take back something I've given you. If you refuse it, you're looking down on me." Uchiha Yin placed the Space Bracelet in Shizune's hand.
Shizune froze for two seconds, then obediently pricked her finger and dripped blood onto the Space Bracelet.
"Thank you."
Shizune took out the scroll Uchiha Yin had given her. Her face flushed as she spoke so softly her words were almost inaudible.
Her voice was barely louder than a mosquito's buzz. Even Rin and Kurenai beside her didn't hear it, but Uchiha Yin did.
Though Uchiha Yin had looked fierce just then, it stirred a different feeling in Shizune.
"All right, let's start training."
Uchiha Yin spoke with a faint smile.
After briefly explaining the training, Uchiha Yin stepped aside and watched the three girls practice.
They weren't quite the same age as Konan and Sara, so Uchiha Yin couldn't give them anything too demanding.
They were still growing, after all. If training too hard kept their bodies from developing properly, that would be a terrible mistake.

"Shizune, you're sneaky! You became Lady Tsunade's apprentice. Doesn't that make you our senior all of a sudden?" Rin teased with a grin.
