When Tu Susu suddenly fell silent, Uchiha Yin turned to look at her.
He found her little face full of misery, tears about to spill from her eyes.
"My Susu is so adorable. How could she possibly be a little fool?"
"You're not stupid. You're just innocent. All I want is for you to live happily. You don't need to worry about all that other nonsense."
"'Little fool' is just my nickname for you, and I'm the only one allowed to use it. If anyone else calls you that, I'll kill them."
"My little fool is an angel, and angels should soar in the light."
Hearing Uchiha Yin's words and feeling his gentle touch, Tu Susu blushed.
Am I really that wonderful? How come I never knew?
"Who said you could call me a little fool, you big idiot? Hmph." Tu Susu looked at Uchiha Yin's face so close to hers, breathed in his scent, and tightened her grip on his hand.

Hiruzen Sarutobi gave the little girl with golden-orange hair his usual kindly smile.
"Mm, thanks, old man," Tu Susu said with an easy nod.
Hiruzen Sarutobi smiled helplessly. It seemed the quiet authority he carried as Hokage had no effect on her at all.
