Just thinking about what had happened left Rin a little dazed.
Rin and Anko were both distracted, so neither noticed the flicker of embarrassment in Kurenai's eyes.
Kurenai had seen it too, of course.

"Anko, what exactly did you see?" Kurenai asked curiously, a sly smile on her face.
"I saw... I didn't see anything." Anko almost blurted out what she had seen out of habit, but caught herself just in time.
"What did you see? Can't you tell us?" Kurenai asked with another smile.
"And Rin, are you sure you didn't see anything?" Kurenai glanced at Rin, who was watching the show, and smiled.
Anko and Rin exchanged a look, then both looked away.
"Oh, right, where's Shizune? Where did she go?" Anko seemed to realize something and hurriedly changed the subject.
"Shizune? Right, where is she?" Kurenai stopped teasing her and took the opening.
"I don't know. Did she not run off with us?" Rin froze for a moment, then asked.
Could Shizune still be there?
The same thought crossed Anko's, Kurenai's, and Rin's minds.
"Should we go back?" Anko suggested cautiously.
"All right, let's go have a look. It should be... over by now, right?" Rin spoke so softly that even Kurenai and Anko beside her didn't hear.
"All right, let's go back. I want to know what you saw just now, Anko." Kurenai felt uneasy too, but to keep up the appearance that she knew nothing, she said it anyway.
"No, no, no." Anko stopped Kurenai and Rin.
As far as Anko knew, Kurenai and Rin still hadn't seen anything.
