Obito spoke coldly, as though he had expected Yagura's answer.
"Yes. I want to avenge the Third Mizukage. That's right, I want to avenge him."
Yagura's expression turned faintly vacant.
But then his vacant face tightened with resistance, and clarity gradually returned to his eyes.
"Oh? You're not strong enough yet, it seems. You couldn't even take control of him."
The corner of White Zetsu's mouth twitched as he spoke.
"Shut up." The masked man's expression was hidden, but it could hardly have been pleasant.
He was none other than Obito Uchiha.
Suddenly gaining such overwhelming power had gone to Obito Uchiha's head.
He had just tried to use his Mangekyō Sharingan to take direct control of Yagura.
But Yagura was a genuine Kage Level fighter. How could Obito Uchiha control him so easily?
The failure left Obito Uchiha feeling humiliated.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?"
Yagura came to his senses, his expression growing warier. Cold sweat beaded on his forehead.
He had come within a hair's breadth of being controlled by the other man's Genjutsu.
He could now clearly see the Mangekyo spinning in the masked Obito's eye.
Someone from the Uchiha Clan! What was Konoha planning? Was it going all in?
Yagura secretly pressed the alarm button in the Mizukage's Office, hoping to summon his subordinates.
But Obito and Zetsu saw the entire movement.
"Don't bother. All your subordinates are already under Genjutsu," Obito said coldly.
White Zetsu had brought them here with his Mayfly Technique, but they had dealt with the underlings along the way.
After all, they wanted to control Yagura and use him as their weapon, not go to war with Kirigakure.
