At Su Yi's answer, the shrewd, slippery Kavelyn showed no embarrassment. Instead, she smiled faintly and said,
"My lord Warmaster, you really do have a short memory."
She swayed her seductive figure beneath her gown as she continued,
"That wasn't what you said when you wanted to bed me."
Su Yi leaned back in his chair. "That was then. This is now."
"Madam Envoy, five years can change a great many things."
"Sometimes, once you miss your chance to make a decision, that chance is gone forever."
Kavelyn paid his words no mind. Resting her chin on her hand, she asked,
"Then when do you intend to remember, Lord Warmaster?"
Su Yi narrowed his eyes. "That depends on whether you have any other alluring, seductive forms to show me, Madam Envoy."
Kavelyn immediately felt his piercing gaze penetrate her body and soul.
It was as though that single glance had stripped her bare, leaving her with no secrets whatsoever.
"You noticed?" Kavelyn rose to her feet and asked.
Su Yi smiled. "I've noticed a few things, but I haven't quite figured them out yet."
"For instance, why do you possess such a rich aura of life?"
"And what special connection do you have to the Mother of Immortality?"
With Su Yi openly broaching the subject, Kavelyn leaned back in her chair.
"What would I gain by telling you the truth?"
Su Yi said, "Just as you said, the Redstone Empire intends to move against us."
"I've already prepared the necessary measures, and I'm ready to move against the Red Lion Empire as well."
"The switch that will trigger the Fourth Great Cataclysm is about to be pressed."
"!!!"
A gleam flashed through Kavelyn's eyes at his words.
"Are you confident?"
Su Yi spread his hands, his expression brimming with confidence.
