"Slaking, should we switch out too?"
Slaking was at a disadvantage against Ghost-type Pokémon. Seeing that Tian Xu had thrown dignity out the window, Xu Mu put the question to Slaking.
"Rrroar!"
[No. I'll fight until I drop!]
Well, no wonder you get along with Dragonite. You two are geniuses when you want to be, but once you get reckless, you'll risk your lives!
Now that's true friendship!
Smiling, Xu Mu turned his gaze to his opponent.
"Slaking, the battle's starting!"
"First, use Bulk Up!"
Tian Xu was delighted when Xu Mu didn't attack right away.

Xu Mu didn't tell Slaking to stop using Bulk Up. He calmly let the Curse land.
"Keep going. Bulk Up!"
Tian Xu couldn't understand why Slaking kept using Bulk Up.
What is Xu Mu playing at?
"Cofagrigus, use Will-O-Wisp!"
That'll burn your Slaking and lower its physical attack each turn.
Let's see how you fight now!
Cofagrigus obeyed. At Tian Xu's command, it used Will-O-Wisp at once, despite having just lost a huge amount of stamina.
"Keep going. Bulk Up!"
Xu Mu didn't even glance at Cofagrigus. He ordered Slaking to keep using Bulk Up.
Most Pokémon and Trainers would have fallen out over this long ago.
Making a Pokémon take hit after hit without fighting back was the ultimate test of the bond between Trainer and Pokémon.
