Xu Mu was puzzled, but he did not interrupt his father. He nodded and kept listening.
"Then there was an old man named Blaine who used Fire-type Pokémon. He was from Kanto too."
"Johto had an old man who used Ice-type Pokémon. What was his name? Pryce. Those two probably knew each other..."
"And the Hoenn Region had a guy who played with fire. I can't remember his name. He was a man."
"Oh, right, Drake! He didn't play with fire. He specialized in Dragon-type Pokémon!"
"And the Sinnoh Region had an interesting guy who specialized in Bug-type Pokémon. His name was Aaron!"
Xu Mu could not listen anymore.
His dad had talked for ages without mentioning a single Champion or one of the protagonists from any generation!
What was going on? Everyone else was here, but the protagonists had gone missing?
"Wait, Dad. Do you know Red, Green, Gold, or Silver?"
"Or Dawn, May, or Serena?"
"Misty or Brock, even. Have you heard of them?"

"Who are they? I've never heard of anyone by those names in the other world!"
