Xu Mu had no answer. It wasn't just Greninja struggling to hold on; Dragonite and Blaziken were in trouble too!
Dragonite was getting completely pummeled by Articuno!
Once Dragonite grew larger, he could barely dodge. Against Articuno, he was a sitting target!
His strength had increased considerably, but it hadn't given him much of an advantage.
Instead, Articuno kept hammering him, nearly crushing his spirit.
"Dragonite, don't get angry! Keep your cool!"
What worried Xu Mu most wasn't that Dragonite couldn't beat Articuno.
It was that Dragonite might reveal his trump card too soon, using his Rampage and Outrage combination before he'd finished powering up.

Dragonite still had an eye on the bigger picture. Compared with Articuno and Moltres,
Zapdos was the one most badly hurt.
For now, he and Greninja just had to hold on until Xu Mu and Blaziken dealt with Zapdos and came to help.

Greninja and Dragonite clearly couldn't make a breakthrough. Their only option was to stall.

Mega Evolution wasn't an option; their coordination wasn't good enough yet.
Blaziken could only rely on his peak Champion strength to fight Zapdos head-on.
Fortunately, Zapdos was seriously injured as well.
Otherwise, Blaziken would never have
