"This Fire Crystal is the heart of our volcano—and it's kept me fed for years!"
Naturally, their first stop was the place Moltres knew best.

As Xu Mu gazed down at the roiling lava, he used the Power of Overcoming and Aura to look more closely. Just as Moltres had said, a crystal of flame lay within!
He smiled. "Could you get it for me, then? Sorry for the trouble."
Moltres nodded at once.
"It would be my honor, my Trainer."
With that, Moltres plunged straight into the lava and brought out the Fire Crystal.
Moltres placed it before Xu Mu without hesitation, making a show of loyalty.
Xu Mu nodded. As he examined the Fire Crystal, he wondered how he should use it.
Give it to Charizard and Blaziken?
What about an Ice-type crystal?
And an Electric-type one for Zapdos?
How was he supposed to divide them up?
"Um, Xu Mu, I think I can use that."
Luo Feng gave an embarrassed grin and spoke quietly.
"You can use a Fire-type crystal too?"
Xu Mu was puzzled. Luo Feng really wasn't picky!
Seeing his confusion, Luo Feng explained:
"It's a Fire Crystal, but if you combine it with an Ice Crystal and a Lightning Crystal, they'll turn into the energy I need."
Xu Mu more or less understood.
He wasn't good at chemistry, but mystical stuff? That he understood!
Luo Feng's meaning was clear: I can't use just this one.
He needed to gather all three, like summoning a divine dragon, before he could absorb them.
"Zapdos, Articuno, come out!"
Xu Mu released the two he had just caught and pointed at the Fire Crystal on the ground.
Then he pointed at Moltres.
The message was simple: look how considerate Moltres was. They were mature Pokémon
