Chaofan looked at Chaoyue in confusion. What was the point of it?
Were they bullying a crowd of weaker opponents just to show off their strength?
Or was this a trial every Pokémon had to undergo to grow stronger?
"I'm not sure either, but Xu Mu seems awfully excited about it... Maybe it's fun."
Chaoqun was baffled too.
They had been called out of nowhere to face a whole crowd.
It made no sense to him.
But what the two of them thought no longer mattered.
For now, they just had to follow Xu Mu's instructions.
Everything else could wait.
And so, for the first time, the Mewtwo made their move before the eyes of the world!
This was their first public battle, their chance to show the whole world what they could do!
From that day on, people remembered the Mewtwo. Like Mew and Ho-Oh, they were Legendary Pokémon!
They belonged among the Pokémon of legend!
No stories about Mewtwo had ever circulated in this world, but that did not stop anyone from recognizing their power.
Or from respecting them!
Even with Chaoqun and Chaofan holding back, they defeated every Pokémon belonging to the school's teachers and students.
The others had it bad enough, but Li Lun had it worst.
He had thought he had found a chance to put Xu Mu in his place. Instead, he had dug his own grave.
All six of his strongest Pokémon went down without so much as touching either Mewtwo.
Now that was a spectacular performance!
Li Lun shook his head with a bitter smile and sighed helplessly.
A thug was bad enough. An educated
