They looked at Mewtwo, who seemed utterly untouchable, then at their own battered bodies. Now they understood.

They had definitely been tricked!

"Chaofan, hold them off for me! I want to see how powerful my Dazzling Gleam is!"

As Chaoyue spoke, he flashed into the air and began gathering power.

Chaofan nodded without another word.

With a Brick Break, he drove Landorus's head into the ground, sending dust billowing up in layers.

Then he grabbed Tornadus by the head and unleashed a Double Slap.

The blows left Tornadus so dazed he couldn't tell which way was up.

As for Thundurus, he no longer had the strength to stand. He lay on the ground looking utterly defeated.

He looked ready to accept whatever they did to him.

"Wait!"

"I! I have something to say..."

Landorus tried to shout, but Chaofan mistook it for an attempt to fight back. Boom!

A Psycho Cut sent him flying.

"I'm ready!"

Just then, Chaoyue let out a shout.

Chaofan hurried out of the way to avoid getting caught in the attack.

The two of them shared a problem: they had trouble controlling the power of moves they had never used before.

But these two were exceptions. Their strength hadn't grown gradually from nothing; it had appeared all at once.
