Cynthia found the way Xu Mu was looking at her rather strange.
What was wrong?
Why was he suddenly looking at me like that?
Puzzled, Cynthia gave Xu Mu a curious look.
Then she asked him,
"What's wrong?"
"Xu Mu?"
Hearing Cynthia's question, Xu Mu realized that perhaps he
was acting a little strange.
So he said quietly to Cynthia,
"I'm fine!"
"Don't worry!"
Cynthia nodded at his answer.
Then she told him,
"If anything happens, you have to tell me!"

Then Cynthia looked at him and said,
"Well, that's settled!"

Xu Mu was utterly baffled.
He stared at Cynthia in confusion.
Cynthia burst out laughing.
She walked over to Xu Mu
and took his hand.
Then she asked him happily,
"What did you go out to do just now?"
Xu Mu's heart skipped a beat at her question.
He smiled and told her,
"Nothing!"
"I just went for a walk."
Hearing that,
Cynthia gave him a suspicious look.
But she said nothing.
Seeing her expression,
Xu Mu slipped an arm around her shoulders.
Then he told her,
"Don't worry!"
"Everything's fine!"
His behavior still made Cynthia suspicious.
Even so, she chose to trust him.
Before Xu Mu could say anything else,
Cynthia said,
"Let's head back, then!"

He could only ask her helplessly,
"Don't you want to walk around a little longer?"
