Guy's Fight Against Hiruko

Team Guy moved through the forest.

Their destination was a cave up ahead, the place Akatsuki was most likely to go.

The others had split up to check the other caves for signs of Akatsuki.

With no real clues, searching every cave was their only option.

"Guy-sensei, don't you think the weather's a little strange?"

Neji Hyuga was the first to notice something was wrong.

The sky in the distance was clear, so why was it overcast right above them? A few dark clouds seemed to be following them.

"Neji, aren't you overthinking it?"

"Byakugan!"

"Someone's controlling those clouds. Watch out!"

Still uneasy, Neji activated his Byakugan and looked up. Sure enough, something was wrong.

As though the clouds had heard him, a bolt of lightning struck.

Warned by Neji, the group hurried out of the way.

"Guy, it's been a long time!" Hiruko appeared before them.

"Hiruko! I never thought you'd join Akatsuki!"

Guy shouted.

"Guy-sensei, you know him?"

"He was a ninja from Tsunade's generation, but he became a rogue ninja after researching forbidden techniques," Guy said.

"He now possesses five Kekkei Genkai: Steel Release, Storm Release, Swift Release, the Sharingan, and Dark Release!"

"Five?" Tenten exclaimed.

"Yes. That's what our intelligence says." Guy nodded gravely.

Ignoring the other three, Hiruko addressed Guy. "Guy, join me!"

"You're just like me, a mediocrity with no talent! Join Akatsuki, and I can help you steal the abilities of those who do have talent!"

"Then you'll become like me—a god!"

"Don't talk about Guy-sensei like that! He's strong!"
