Visitors from Beyond

Night had fallen. The long street lay in darkness, and everyone in the Hyuga Clan compound should have been asleep. Yet several people wore troubled expressions in their sleep, as though they were having nightmares.

"Are you the current head of the Hyuga Clan?"

Hyuga Hiashi looked at the figure before him and felt a faint but unmistakable pressure bearing down on his body.

"I never imagined the Byakugan's purity would decline so far after all these years!"

"Who are you?"

"Has even our history been erased? You're the clan head, yet you don't know we exist?"

The man spoke with his back to Hyuga Hiashi.

He slowly turned, revealing a pale-faced man with blue hair and closed eyes.

"The Sage of Six Paths was named Hamura Otsutsuki, and our ancestor was his younger brother, Hagoromo Otsutsuki. Some of our people migrated to the moon, while others remained on land and became the Hyuga Clan!"

"If you want to purify your bloodline, follow the guidance and come find me on the moon!"

Hyuga Hiashi jolted awake.

"Hamura Otsutsuki, Hagoromo Otsutsuki, descendants of the Sage of Six Paths' younger brother! He wants me to find him on the moon!"

"Was it a dream, or was it real?"

Muttering to himself, Hyuga Hiashi got up at once, heedless of the darkness outside. He rushed into the room where the clan's historical records were kept, hoping to find a clue.

In Hinata's dream...

"Byakugan Princess, it's been a long time!"

"Who are you? Have we met?"

"I had the good fortune to meet you when you were little, Hinata!"

The man's manner toward Hinata was worlds apart from how he had treated Hyuga Hiashi. He spoke to her gently, while his tone toward her father had bordered on contempt.

"What do you want?"
