The stones on the ground were crushed by an unseen force. Some of the resulting powder rose into the air and formed a circular barrier around Crash Boy.
The process continued. Stones kept crumbling to dust under that strange force, and thin streams of powder rose to reinforce his defense.
At first, Crash Boy could only rely on the barrier of magnetic material to block sudden attacks from certain directions. As more sand gathered, the barrier shielded more of his body, until it finally enclosed him completely.
Sugar Baby stopped attacking. The seemingly loose sand had compacted around Crash Boy into an incredibly sturdy sphere. Even a blow carrying all her strength could not break through that nearly perfect shield.
