Once Sonic chose Golden Flash as his opponent, Luke and the others realized they were about to face a problem.
A clash within the Blizzard Group had become inevitable.
With only four contestants left, Luke and the siblings, Crash Boy and Sugar Baby, had a difficult choice to make.
But they did not have many options.
As long as the red card in the final draw did not go to the down-and-out, curly-haired middle-aged man who looked like a drifter, the choice would be theirs.
Neither sibling wanted to face their Master. That would make the match both predictable and pointless.
But if one of them chose the drifter, the other would have to face their Master and be eliminated.
Better to let their Master fight the drifter. That would leave the siblings to face each other.
Of the few possibilities remaining, that was the one they could most readily accept.
Having made their decision, neither sibling looked discouraged. If anything, they seemed eager to begin.
"Don't hold back when the time comes, okay, big brother?" Sugar Baby reminded him.
"Of course." Crash Boy nodded.
After spending so much time together, the siblings knew each other's abilities inside out. It was hard to say which of them was stronger, but their coming match promised to be a spectacular one.
The match between Sonic and Golden Flash came to an end. Sonic had found the answer he sought and set a new goal for his life.
He would no longer let hatred drive him, but he would keep working tirelessly to grow stronger.
Sonic believed that one day he would catch up to Golden Flash, stand beside him, and even surpass him.
After the fight came another long intermission. At last, it was time for the final draw.
Two matches remained.
