He had no idea exactly how he would die. Compound V did not belong to the Villainous League, and Vought International kept a tight grip on the supply it provided to criminal groups. The League had to support additional research, so it used Compound V sparingly. No one there had ever died from an overdose.

Even across all of history, he might have been the only person ever injected with such a dose.

The dozen or so vials the Villainous League had saved during its experiments had all been injected into him.

A-Train had not come up with the idea because he was especially clever. He had seen something similar before.

For one thing, A-Train had secretly used Compound V to boost his own powers. He knew it could cause severe reactions, including a racing heart, nausea, and vomiting.

And he would never forget the horrific death of The Female, his former secret lover, after she injected three vials of Compound V at once.
