Under the crushing force of Tatsumaki's Psychic Power, Queen Maeve was still gripped by terror when several sharp whistles cut through the air.

The figures who had been lurking in the darkness finally showed themselves.

Queen Maeve was an old friend of The Boys. She was among the earliest Espers and had close ties to their leader, Federal Captain. They could not stand by while she was in danger.

Besides, they had seen the girl's terrifying strength for themselves. Queen Maeve had barely been able to fight back against her, proving that Homelander had not been lying.

The moment they appeared, Starlight, who stood beside Luke, went rigid.

Luke glanced at her in surprise. Though thick sunglasses hid much of her face, her body language made it clear that she was stunned.

The others present might not have known much about The Boys, a team from a bygone era. But Starlight had dreamed of becoming a superhero since childhood and had grown up watching their biopics. She knew almost everything about each of them.

Though they had aged, weakened, and even grown out of shape, Starlight recognized them at once. The newcomers were Hawkeye, Bee Man, and Federal Captain of The Boys!

Federal Captain, in particular, looked almost exactly as she remembered him!

Starlight could not understand why these once-famous figures had all appeared here after so many years out of the spotlight.

From the look of things, they were on Queen Maeve's side, intent on rescuing her from Tatsumaki.
