Background / History

Shockwave enters the racing circuit as a challenger to A-Train. He is 0.3 seconds faster, leaving A-Train afraid of losing both the race and his place in The Seven. A-Train turns to Compound V despite its effects on his health 36 37 42. Before the race, both runners publicly claim to be the fastest 47.

At their public race, Shockwave and A-Train wager that the loser will have a leg sawed off. A-Train, having secretly taken Compound V, wins. Shockwave tries to flee the wager, but Ryan stops him and offers to help him join The Seven if he follows Homelander. Shockwave reluctantly agrees; Ryan then gets A-Train to say the wager was a joke 47 48. Ryan gives Shockwave a tracker, and Shockwave later reports that Homelander has flown out to sea beyond his ability to follow 49. Ryan hopes the surveillance will reveal information about the doctor Homelander is hiding, who developed Compound V 48.

Shockwave is younger than A-Train and has a thin frame 47.
